It takes 21 days to create a habit! Take this 21 Day Healthy Eating Challenge with me and let’s start eating healthier!
This is in no way a ‘diet’, this is not something we should be aiming to do for just 21 days. The aim of this challenge is to help us change our eating habits, so we stop eating processed foods, and start eating real whole foods.
For 21 days eat no:
- Soda
- Fast Food
- Chips
- White Bread/Pasta
- Chocolate
- Alcohol
- Baked Goods (cookies, muffins, etc.)
It should be pretty obvious what we are doing here. We are cutting out the junk. All refined, over-processed, high caloric, junk. We can replace them though, start taking a good look at your favourite recipes and find ways to make then healthier!
For 21 days start:
- Drinking 6-8 Glasses of Water a Day
- Eating 5 Fruits or Veggies a Day
- 60 Minutes of Movement a Day. It can be anything. A walk, gardening, playing with your kids. Exercise does NOT have to be a scheduled, strenuous activity!
- Get 7-9 Hours of Sleep a Night
Don’t get overwhelmed by all this change, take baby steps! Try adding just one fruit/veggie to each meal, or taking a 30 minute walk everyday. Small steps lead to big change! Meal prep for the week, or even prepping the night before will help a lot too!
