These are the products I have found to be the best for me, after years of searching! These are the products in my acne prone skincare routine.
I mentioned in my “How to Layer Skincare Products” post, I have very acne prone skin, and have for several years. I thought I would share my Acne Prone Skincare routine. I bought most of my products from Sephora.
Morning:
- Clinique Acne Solutions Foaming Cleanser
- Clinique Acne Solutions Clarifying Toner
- Tarte Pure Maracuja Oil
- Clinique Acne Solutions All-Over Clearing Treatment
- Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion (for dry skin)
- Benefit It’s Potent! Eye cream
Night:
- Clinique Acne Solutions Foaming Cleanser
- Clinique Acne Solutions Clarifying Toner
- Clinique Acne Solutions All-Over Clearing Treatment
- Garnier Skin Renew Dark Spot Overnight Peel
- REN Clearcalm 3 Replenishing Gel Cream
I also use a face mask one to two times a week. I use either fresh Rose Face Mask, or Adovia Dead Sea Mud Mask.
I am always looking for new products to add to my Acne Prone Skincare routine. I have had the best luck with the Clinique Acne Solutions line, mainly the foaming cleanser, toner, and lotion. I have tried everything from Murad, to Proactiv, to every drugstore line I can find and nothing has really cleared my skin. If you have any products to suggest to me please leave them in the comments below!

I too have acne prone skin. I’ve wondered if the Clinique line works. I’m currently using Sibu Beauty products, and they seem to be the best I’ve found so far for my skin.
I tried Sibu too, didn’t work for me. I’m glad it’s working for you!
Thanks for sharing. I will have to check out the clinique products I have acne badly and have yet to find anything that works!
I definitely recommend clinique! It helps me A LOT but I still get breakouts occasionally!
I have really acne-prone skin too and my dermatologist once told me that “less is more,” so I cut out almost all products and used just Dove Sensitive Skin Soap! It worked like a charm! Recently I started using Liz Earle products, which I really love as well.
It would be awesome if I could cut out products, unfortunately I tried and it didn’t work for me!
Clinique is the absolute best! Love their face lotion. It is the only thing that hydrates my skin without making me break out like a school girl.
