Copycat Skinny Caramel Frappucino

After we moved in December of 2014 I had to pretty much give up caffeine. There are no coffee places within a 30 minute drive! Needless to say, I had to come up with my  own delicious recipe, and fast!

Before we moved, there was a Tim Hortons just 2minutes away that we visited everyday, it was a habit that I am glad we stopped. I would get an Iced Cappucino nearly everyday and they are packed with sugar and calories! And daily trips make a dent in you wallet really fast!

So besides the fact that there is no way I can go pick up my fav. caffeinated beverages everyday; they are also full of calories and they are expensive, I would rather keep that money pocket. Here is the best recipe I have come up with, it is so good and it only has 137 calories for a nice tall glass. Plus, making it at home saves me lots of money!

  • 1 cup string coffee (chilled)
  • 1 1/4 cup of milk
  • 2 tablespoons of a sugar substitute (I use Truvia)
  • 1/8 tsp Xanthan Gum
  • 1/4 cup Caramel Flavoured Syrup
  • *Whipped Topping (Optional)
  • *Caramel Sauce Topping (Optional)
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend.
  2. Top with whip cream and sauce. This is optional of course and will add to your calories!
