I am always looking for fun and challenging workouts I can do a few times a week. I like changing things up so I don’t get bored. I was able to try a great app called ‘The Fitness Games’ and it has been a lot of fun.
The Fitness Games is free to download but there are just a few workouts for the free version, you can upload to the Platinum version for just $2 and it will unlock tons of pre-set workouts plus you can customize and create your own workouts, so you can have something new every day of the week!
The app is very easy to use and it’s very simple, there is no cluttered screens, just your workout plain and simple. If you need an explanation or a refresher for an exercise you can click the exercise in the app and it will explain and give a demonstration on how to perform the exercise.
Now here is the really fun part. With the app you can connect with other users and challenge them. If you and your friends all have the app you can challenge each other to a timed workout and see who can complete it first. You can choose from one of the pre-set workouts or create your own tough workout to really kick your friend’s butt! (and yours too.)
I have challenged my sister and a couple of my friends a few times and it was a lot of fun, it’s something my sister and I have tried to do at least once a week!
All in all I am very happy with this app. I am someone who trains with the minimum amount of equipment and accessories because I don’t like carrying stuff around. This easy to use app is definitely a winner for me.
