I’m always trying to mix up my strength training. I try to make it fun as I can, but I try to make sure it’s stillĀ challenging. To tell you the truth, I hate strength training! I would much rather do cardio, but as we all know strength training is super important, whether you are trying to lose weight or just keep your muscles healthy. Strength training strengthens your bones and muscles, and helps prevent injuries.
Flip a Coin Workout
Sometimes exercising feels like such a chore, because let’s be real, it kind of is… So I try to incorporate as many fun activities into my week as I can. This could mean taking a hike, going for a swim, paddle boarding, etc. I haven’t been shy about the fact that I am not a big fan of strength training and truth be told, this is where I need to shake things up the most. I really need fun, simple, and quick strength workouts to get me through!

There are plenty of sites where you can find free yoga resources, workouts, and tutorials online. All you need is a yoga mat and you can practice in your own home. If you are someone who prefers to workout by yourself, this is a perfect low-impact and relaxing practice.

I am always looking for a new and better hair mask. I found a bunch of Coconut Oil masks floating around pinterest. There are some that require more then just the coconut oil, like eggs, olive oil, honey, etc. But I just went super simple and stuck with just the coconut oil.
The claims are that the mask will make your hair shinier and healthier, and even help it to grow by stimulating the roots. Of course if you like the smell of coconut, your hair will smell good too!
